Overview
Tsavo West National Park, located in southeastern Kenya, is one of the country’s most diverse and scenic parks. Covering over 9,000 square kilometers, it forms part of the larger Tsavo ecosystem and is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, volcanic formations, and abundant wildlife.
Visitors can spot the Big Five (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhino), as well as giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species. The park is also known for its dramatic sunsets, panoramic viewpoints, and historic sites such as the Man-Eaters of Tsavo bridge.
